Using project management software is a successful practice of many project managers. Today, most project management tools have a Web interface. Project management software continues to evolve in their facilities and user interface. As a general trend is the increasing of the project management processes integration and the usage of knowledge management systems.
Microsoft Project 2010 is one of the most used software systems for project management. Therefore, the authors considered that a book presenting this system, mainly through the case studies is very useful, especially for those interested to learn how to benefit in real projects by this software.
The case studies were developed with the assistance of the following students enrolled in project management master degree programs of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies: Mardale Daniela, Hîrbu Oleg, Ionescu Cristina, Manea Mihai, Guþã Adela, Vlãdescu Raluca and Sãmãreanu Valentin.
All the book’s chapters contain many examples and screenshots, which facilitate the usage and understanding of the Microsoft Project facilities.
The book is especially for thosewho are interested to learn how to use Microsoft Project in real projects and they have no prior experience in working with software for project management.
