The book "Approaches to sustainable investment management in the context of the VUCA world" has as its main objective to provide a model of action for supporting organisations in conducting and coordinating investment activity in an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) business environment. A special attention is also being focused, through the proposed model, on the assessment of the impact and effects of sustainable investment projects, analysing the most significant events and unpredictable situations that may cause difficulties during their implementation.
The results obtained, after testing the previously established research hypotheses, contribute to the development of the domain, because they allow a better understanding of the unstable and uncertain business environment (VUCA environment) - an environment in which most organisations have to constantly update their strategy and investment projects in order to be competitive.
The number of organisations that are focusing their activity on sustainable investment projects is increasing, therefore the results can constitute a support tool and an information base for practitioners, theorists and students who are researching the area of sustainable investment and the VUCA world.
