European Union Law. Lecture notes

The book „European Union Law. Lecture notes” offers students, but also professionals working in the business field and not only, an image of the European Union’s role, organization and legislation. As a Member State of the European Union since 2007, Romania must constantly comply with the European Union law, and so do not only the Romanian citizens, but also the foreign businessmen willing to invest in the Romanian market.

The approach used in presenting the European Union is treated not only theoretically, but also historically, by understanding its need of existence and, as much as possible, also from a practical point of view, using examples from the caselaw of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

The goal of these lecture notes is that of understanding the development both of the institutional European Union law and also of its material law, more precisely the principles, the role and the impact of the European Union legislation in any of its Member States.
