Erasmus Economics Spanish for Erasmus students of Economic Sciences

The university course book Económicas Erasmus. Español para estudiantes Erasmus de Ciencias Económicas  aims to support for students who wish to consolidate and enrich their Spanish knowledge in view to participate in the Erasmus European mobility programme.

The main purpose of the book is developing intermediate understanding and expressing skills in Spanish, according to B 1 level of competence as specified in The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Therefore, the activities included in the book are destined to students already owing at least an A 2 (upper beginner) level of competence in Spanish.

The twelve units included in the course dwell on topics related to preparing to successfully pass the selection process (Intercambio europeo, Me dirijo a Ustedes); university everyday life (Créditos y asignaturas, Convocatoria de exámenes); social integration (Un piso a compartir, Un billete de ida y vuelta); as well as aspects related to economic phenomena which students will study during classes they choose to attend at the Spanish economic faculties  (Mercados y compañías, Estrategias de márketing, Comprar y vender). An important part of each unit also focuses on consolidating Spanish basic grammar knowledge.

As they are first and foremost addressed to autonomous learning, the units are completed by a Spanish – Romanian business glossary and a section containing the key to the learning and self assessment activities.
