The book offers an imagistic perspective, bringing all past endeavours to present day, in order to perceive exactly the transformations undergone by the Faculty of Commerce and the Academy of Economic Studies during a century of existence.
Appeared in a special graphic form, the work contains valuable documents, some the them since the first half of the twentieth century.
The absolute novelty compared to previous titles is the section entitled "The Beginnings of Trade Education" (the time of commercial schools, from 1864 to 1936).
Also the author present expressive images, some relatively recent, wishing to carry out an inventory of contributions that have marked the evolution of commerce education. Divided into ten sections, corresponding to many subjects, the images succeed, in general, in chronological order, for an equivalent representation to all directions of study and chairs that belonged, over time, to faculty, primarily the Departments of Commerce, Commodities and quality management, respectively, tourism services.
