Urban and rural passenger transport. Practical works, applications, case studies and tests to verify the knowledge

The paper deals with the implications it has local public passenger transport on the development of villages, in particular, and the national economy in general, dealing demand and supply of transport services and aspects of rational and efficient use of fleet vehicles, presents a study case, the example of local transport, economic and financial analysis and diagnostic activity, and, finally, offers its students, verification tests of knowledge.
The authors hope that by publishing this material will help raise the professional training of students of the Faculty of Management, specializing in local and central public administration, and staff of local, municipal and county councils, dealing with transport problems of localities.
