The book includes theoretical and practical approaches to face-to-face communication techniques. This type of communication allows a better exchange of information, because both the speaker and the listener are able to see and interpret both body language and facial expressions.
The first four chapters of the book are dedicated to the general theoretical aspects of communication: introduction to communication, interpersonal communication, perception and listening, and verbal and nonverbal communication.
The last three chapters of the book present modern theories of the art of communication inspired by psychoanalysis, neuro-linguistic programming and the theory of facial feed-back.
