The purpose of this book is to offer solutions to optimize the physical education lesson in the higher education system by applying the psycho-tonic training to improve both the recovery capacity of the body, and the necessary cognitive psychic processes for the instruction process.
Taking in account that the students' activity has a highly intellectual nature, knowing that they need to accumulate an increasing quantity of theoretical knowledge during the instruction process, the physical education should contribute to the improvement of the psychic performances (attention, memory, thinking). In this context, the use of relaxation techniques plays a more and more important role representing the necessary premises for a qualitative instruction. Applying the psycho-tonic training, gave the author the possibility to experience in practice and to notice the impact it has on the formation of the psycho-intellectual potential of the young people studying Economics.
The book is the fruit of the author's experimental research, it contains data from the specialty literature, data acquired by scientific research and also data from the experience accumulated during the 15 years of activity in the filed of physical education and sports.
