Basketball is part of the means of improving the physical development and movement skills. Introduced in physical education systems of each society, it illustrates a social activity, a tool through which social environment determines the orientation required to comply with the requirements set out for the whole physical education process.
Practicing the basketball game plays an important role in forming and improvement of coordinated movements, in forming of rapid gearing capability tempo and rhythm of social activities, by adding positive influences and results with santrofic and educational character.
The applied function of basketball theory is materialized through teaching and coaching methods, by adapting to the concrete conditions of basketball, by the pedagogy principles and methods, of physical education and sports as well as the training theory. All these principles and methods are based on physiology laws, biochemistry, psychology, etc.
Within this book the author proposed coordinator teachers of the female basketball university representatives teams from the universities which don't have sports profile, a training program that leads to optimization, from all aspects, of the training program for these teams.
Applying this training program does not exclude the possibility of the methodical thinking development of coaches, regarding the content and ways to be followed to ensure the optimal training of these players.
Within this thesis it was established the game conception and in question teams preparation.
Training concept clearly establishes the objectives and selections stages, general competences, specific competences, training content, streamlined and standardized means for training implementation and last but not least the final standards for the curriculum implementation.
This thesis is addressed to coaches of the university representative teams of feminin basketball as well as the sportswomen that are part of these teams.
