The School of Political Economy at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Second Edition

The book "School of political economy from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest" – the second edition, is intended to showcase the dedication and passion of the teaching staff, as well as their concern for the permanent amplification of efforts in order to raise the standard of quality and effectiveness of economic education through the essential coordination of the teacher-researcher-student partnership.

In the spirit of epistemology, as a theory of scientific knowledge, the authors opted for the term "School of political economy", as a higher form "of economic scientific knowledge in close relation with economic practice, in time and space". Thus, the organizational name of chair, department, etc., can change over time, but the concern for scientific advancement, as a school, is perennial. That is why the authors started from empiricism to arrive at the economic school, as a set of systematized and interdependent knowledge about economic reality and its permanent improvement, for the good of man, in conditions of freedom, authentic humanism and peace.
