The author presents the results of various researches she conducted in the field of Social Entrepreneurship, both at national and international level. The book is structured into three main parts: firstly the concept of Social Entrepreneurship is presented from a theoretical perspective. In the second part the author focuses on the analysis of several business models in social enterprises, as they result mainly from the interviews conducted with various social entrepreneurs. The third section outlines the results of a questionnaire based survey regarding entrepreneurial intensions and attitude towards Social Entrepreneurship in our country.
The research methods are complex and rely both on qualitative and quantitative tools and instruments and the present work is one of the first books on this topic in Romania.
