Sayings of the soul

In the world of economic books published at ASE Publishing House, the book of Professor Alexandru Tasnadi is singular. It is a book that reflects the soul of the author, it reveals, through its message, the man who wrote it: a good, sensitive and loving human being. Although this is prose, the book is full of poetry: in a way it is a poem, an emotional poem.
"Sayings of the soul" is a plea for trust, kindness, hope, love. It is structured in four parts (Speeches, The world of books, Letters, Reflections) united by the red thread of the author’s sensitivity.
The speeches in the first part were held by the author on several occasions: opening the academic year, graduations, Christmas. His love for students, for graduates and, generally, for all people, penetrates between the lines. Speaking to the students or to the graduates about their hard work and their struggle to obtain a social status and to model their nature, the author guides these young people so they put their life on the rule of changing from inside.
The power of change must come from within. "Change for the better starts with you" or, as a wise man of the antiquity, Augustine, said: "Do not go outside, go back to yourself, in the inner man lives the truth". "The only real satisfaction is to grow inside yourself all the time, to become more just, more generous, simpler, better, more active. And this is what we all can do, if we do what is to be done in one day as well as we can."(James Freeman Clarke).

The times we live in bear the mark of change. They are not easy at all. We are overwhelmed by problems.
Only FAITH, HOPE and LOVE will help us to get through them, the love for people, and the love for mothers. For the author of "Sayings of the soul" the mother is the creator of worlds and miracles, of paradises and infinite hopes. He urges us to take a challenge to this ungrateful and forgetful world and to give our love to the noblest being, the mother. The world we live in, the author believes, has become a spiritual desert. In this wilderness, we must try to create a little oasis, an oasis where a flower can bloom again. People are always looking for happiness. As an Oriental saying is, the greatest happiness is to have peace in your soul. And a Chinese proverb says: "Keep a green tree in your heart and maybe the singing bird will come."

Nowadays people seem harassed. They are always in a hurry. "Don’t let yourself harassed", says the author. And try to remain a human being, a MAN ". And a Navajo song exhorts us: "Go after a rainbow, go after a song and you'll be just fairness. There is a way out of the dark mist, the way going after a rainbow. "And don’t get lost in yesterday or in tomorrow, says the author. Live today; live every moment; it is precious because it doesn’t ever happen again. The more present we are in what we live, the less we have the feeling that the time is running invisibly away from us. "Life is long, if you know to enjoy it", says Seneca.

Live intensely the Christmas, this is the advice of Professor Alexandru Tasandi. Christmas is the time when we give each other gifts. Be happy, author says, when someone gives you a gift. It is the sign that someone is thinking of you. Cherish the gift, he says, "even if it is small”. The Christmas message of Professor Alexandru Tasnadi is: "Act in such a way that every day to be born love. Love is the power of knowledge of happiness. Then God will open the gates of paradise, and you will be laughing with joy.
Indeed, the remedy against all evil, diseases, pain, suffering and crimes of humanity lies in the magic word "love". To love and enjoy simple joys of life, to offer as many flowers as we can to loved ones and to show them in this way and in many other ways that we deserve their love. To get out of our lives the baneful expression "I don’t have time", to give each other hope, to dare to dream, to put friendship above everything, because a friend is the best fortune of life, is a gift from God. To dream and to fight when we deal with suffering and illness ("In the depth of winter, I learned, finally, that inside me there is an invincible summer," wrote Albert Camus). This is what the author tells us. And with every other page we read, our soul becomes richer, and richer.

So, dear reader, "Take time to be friendly – is the way to happiness. Take time to dream – you'll be closer to the stars. Take time to look around – the day is too short for you to be selfish. Take time to laugh – this is the music of the soul "(old British prayer).
