Social responsibility and financial performance of companies

The general purpose aimed at in this scientific paper is to develop a conceptual framework of the CSR for the companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange by analysing both their degree of use and understanding of the concept of CSR, and the level of integration of the CSR practices in the business strategy in order to answer the following research question: Does the CSR influence the financial performance of the companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange?
