Librarians serving the Academy of High Commercial and Industrial Studies in Bucharest. Christina Tuduri and Theodor Ludu

This book illustrates an important moment in the institutional development of the Library of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, namely the directorship of two important librarianship specialists: Christina Tuduri (1902-1998) and Theodor Ludu (1912-1975).

The two scholars have contributed over 40 years to support the educational process within the Academy of Higher Commercial and Industrial Studies (AISCI), as it was called at the beginning Academy of Economic Studies, as well as to the development of librarianship field.

The monograph ends with several annexes that reflect the activity of the two directors and a selective bibliography.
