Starting from the idea that the verb represents one of the major difficulties of learning a foreign language, this volume addresses both beginners and connoisseurs of the Italian language, through its conception as a basic tool, scientific and practical, indispensable for correct expression, written and spoken.
The volume comprises four parts:
1) grammar and syntax of the verb, in which are presented, with abundant examples, the formation and use of the verb (modes, tenses, concordances, diatheses, conjugations, particularities, exceptions, irregular verbs);
2) conjugation tables, containing over 100 verbs (auxiliary, regular-model verbs, verbs with particularities, irregular verbs, phraseological verbs, defective verbs), accompanied by notes, observations, explanations;
3) key exercises, grouped on the three CCERL levels;
4) alphabetical index, comprising over 6500 verbs.
