This paper is addressed to students, but also specialists in rural economy and the environment, eager to learn rural development issues and those specific relations between agricultural production seen in terms of technology, natural environment and quality corresponding CAP.
The paper is structured in four parts.The first part presents the technological base, technical and material of vegetal production, starting from the premise that technology management must be based on performance criteria, including organization and competitive management of land and crops. In the second and third of the book are presented major crops technology, respectively, horticultural crop technology, given that agricultural production is in closely interdependence with the environment factors which influence the level of obtained production.The last part presents technologies for domestic livestock, which is a branch inextricably linked to vegetal production.
In Romania, agriculture must be rehabilitated in terms of economic viability, promoting environmental criteria into practice of technologies. Therefore, the students from Faculty of Agrifood and Environment Economics must study practical and theoretical bases that underlies the rational exploitation of natural resources and agricultural systems.
