Vital statistics with applications in public administration

The work of Ms. Assoc. Dr. Dana Stefania Colibaba, included in the collection "Statistics", presents the most important aspects of the theory of statistics and demography, as well as a number of applications built and solved, particularly useful for readers interested in the basis for economic decisions in public administration.

The book is structured into two parts. The first part presents the theoretical aspects of statistics: basic concepts of statistics, collection and primary processing of data, univariate series, interrelated sets, time series, statistical indicators and statistical survey. This allows understanding demographic elements of the second part of the work. Examples in this part are built on data from the 2002 Census for population of Romania.
