Sociology

Sociology is a discipline that contributes to the formation of professional culture. The book opens with the presentation of specific sociology, then continue with some details about the historical evolution (August Comte – the founder of sociology) and other contributions to its establishment: Emile Durkheim, Stuart Mill, Leroy-Beaulieu, Spencer, Max Weber, G. Tarde, Gustave Le Bon, Dimitrie Gusti.

One chapter presents the social groups – definitions, classifications, small group, pressure groups, authorities and leaders, elite theory, and another chapter covers the characteristics of economic culture.

On completion of the work are described methods and techniques of sociology: the method of observation, experiment, social surveys, monographic method, interview and questionnaire, poll, test, scalarii technique, content analysis.
