The purpose of this paper is to identify the correlation between education and economic performances.

The main goal of the scientific approach initiated in this book is to emphasize the elements that transform education into a key component of the development process. Education by itself cannot generate economic development. This is the reason why the significance of education on economic development must be correlated with the individual’s actions in the labour market and entrepreneurship.

In order to attain this goal, this paper argues the need for reform of the educational organizations. The reform measures emphasized here aim to create an educational system based on freedom of choice and competition between beneficiaries and providing organizations. This in the only way education can exceed the status of a simple good and become the mean of individual’s prosperity.
