COMPUTER PROGRAMMING. APPLICATIONS is designed as a tool to support studying computer programming, both during individual study and during class work.
This book is a rich collection of problems that reflect the techniques and notions studied in PROGRAMMING ALGORITHMS and COMPUTER PROGRAMMING classes at the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics for Economy of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Most of the problems are already resolved, while some are left for the students to solve. The problems are grouped in chapters, according to the curriculum, allowing a gradual approach from simple notions to the more advanced ones. At the end of each chapter/ subchapter there are proposed problems that allow students to individually test their knowledge and abilities. Some of these problems propose improvements to the solutions presented in the book.
The book is designed mainly for the students of the second year of the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and informatics for Economy, but it is useful for other categories of specialists interested in studying computer programming.
