Introduction to Econometrics

The book is addressed especially to students of economic faculties, but may be useful to anyone with interests in the economic field, because the emphasis on educational and operational aspect and less on the mathematical aspect.
The volume is structured into eight chapters, the contents of which we mention: a short history of econometrics, definitions of econometrics, concepts and basic concepts of econometrics, the place and role of econometrics in the system of economics, econometrics description of dependencies and interdependencies of economic phenomena, verification and using simple regression model, examples of applications using Excel, SPSS.
The paper is based on Romanian edition Econometric models, vol I, II edition, by A. I. Iacob and O. E. Tanasoiu, published by the same publisher, in 2005.
